Turkey warning: The full story
Turkish people are the kindest, most charming, warmest and friendliest people I have ever met; so much so that I decided to live there permanently. After one year, having invested my life savings there I had to flee from death threats in the middle of the night and return to the UK penniless and homeless. I left with just my passport and wallet. This could not have happened without the collusion of local lawyers, the corrupt institutions, the police and sadly, my neighbours, local villagers and ‘friends’.
